Adventure Explorers is coming to DAUMC! Because social distancing is preventing the church from hosting it’s normal Vacation Bible School this summer, we have created Adventure Explorers, a home-based, ten week faith and worship experience for ALL AGES! Each week in Adventure Explorers, you and your household will engage in hands-on activities, devotion and prayer, and online worship centered on a common adventure theme. You will receive an Adventure Explorers Kit with activity and devotional materials that are fun and simple to use with common household items, like scissors, tape, glue, crayons (we can provide these for you if needed). On Wednesday evenings, we’ll participate in an energetic mid-week Base Camp Online Worship where we will orient ourselves to adventurous faith in story, prayer and song. And we’ll wrap-up the week’s adventure theme during Sunday Online Worship.  The DAUMC Adventure Explorers Facebook page will provide an easy way to share your family’s experiences and projects with others from the church.  Adventure Explorers begins on Sunday evening, June 14, with the delivery of your household Adventure Explorers Kit. The excitement culminates during Sunday Online Worship on August 23.

While we are distancing, we can still be together!
